Gleo is a free instrument plugin for Windows & macOS.

I am not the one that wakes the winter
Nor would I wish for dawn
If dawn would waste away the whispered words of beakless gulls -
Unblinking eyes submerged in newfound heraldry and purpose -
Into ears such as ours.

And cast our veins in isinglass
Carve us gills and salt the wounds -
We'd preen our scales, choke the air and rove out with the tide.

We'd churn beneath the water's weight
And drown and drown and drown.

In 1904, off the coast of Crookhaven in Cork, Ireland, a diving crew happened upon a curiosity consumed by the Atlantic's apathetic maw and regurgitated onto the ocean floor.

Wrought in iron & marble, choked in a shifting mass of vapour, the apparatus began to sing a song of misery and hunger, of coal and asphyxiation, of the little truths on the spokes of the cosmic wheel, and of the old gods of the sea.
