I had similar problems installing on a Mac, soon neatly and instantly solved when Sample Logic sent me a replacement .nki to swap in; all better now:).

I agree that 40 G is so far hard to justify, but the deep pleasure I'm already getting out the few examples I've been able to deeply explore in the few days I've had this thing amply justify the 5 stars I plan to give it in my own review.

I hope your annoyance at these early-days tech snafus will fade quickly from memory now that it's working as expected, allowing you, too, to perhaps start to feel that this is a total winner, at a far more approachable price than is typical from Sample Logic, as I do:).
