Guitar Session is a collection of inspiring guitar phrases in combination with song layouts for Apple GarageBand iOS (you need version 1.2 or later) and GarageBand for Mac (you need version 6.0.2 or later). It's really more powerful than using the "smart guitar" of your app.

All the 42 songs of this package give you good ideas how to start musically with GarageBand on your iPad or Mac. You find two types of "songs": The 23 guitar song kits come with a full playback. In addition to the live played guitar lick (audio phrase) you get some fresh drum grooves, bass lines and further instruments. The 19 guitar phrase kits, sorted by tempo from 60 to 140 BPM, exist of only two tracks – the guitar phrase and a drum groove.

The guitar takes were optimized for music production in the mainstream styles of electronic and pop/rock music. The guitar itself, a real Fender Stratocaster, was played by German artist Hansi Kremer, pre-amped with TL Audio Processor and originally recorded in 24-bit.
