FLAMENCO PERCUSSION from the Handy Drums plugin range is a pre-mixed set of authentic-sounding, sampled percussion instruments dedicated to Flamenco music. They were recorded with a minimalist approach resulting in natural, realistic, playable percussion instruments.

The plugin offers true-to-life sound quality right out of the box and is aimed at users looking for instant Flamenco percussion results. Tweaks to the individual drum and percussion components can be achieved using the included mixer. Each drum/ percussion component sounds as heard in an acoustic space.

As with all of the plugins in the Handy Drums collection, the FLAMENCO PERCUSSION comes with a clean, simple GUI that discreetly and intuitively offers essential functionalities such as drum mapping, routing, and other settings. That makes this virtual drumset very easy to use.

While the virtual instrument is aimed primarily at Flamenco music, it can be equally suitable for stripped-down, singer-songwriter acoustic settings. In addition to cajon, it also contains congas, bongos, timbales, claps, feet, and castanetes.

The plugin features a variable hi-hat, but it achieves 6 stages of hi-hat openness utilizing only 2 notes in combination with a CC4 controller.
