Hazex

Hazex is a free algorithmic stereo reverb plugin for macOS. An 8-line feedback delay network builds spaces from tight rooms to long ambient washes, with dynamic ducking, modulation, and a set of creative tail effects.

Reverb engine:

• 8-line feedback delay network with a Householder mixing matrix and prime delay lengths for smooth, dense tails.
• 4-point Hermite interpolation and a 4-stage input diffuser to avoid metallic coloring.
• Size and Decay (0.1–10 s RT60) set the space, with dynamic gain compensation so louder tails don't jump forward.

Tone and space:

• Damping for high-frequency absorption.
• Pre-delay (0–100 ms), with optional tempo-synced subdivisions.
• Tone tilt (dark to bright), Early-reflection blend, and stereo decorrelation (Vapor).
• Sub-Anchor — a 24 dB/oct crossover that keeps low frequencies mono-safe on club systems.

Dynamic and creative controls:

• Ducking with sensitivity, so the reverb steps back under the dry signal and blooms in the gaps.
• SAT-LINK — envelope-driven saturation inside the feedback loop.
• HPF-Link — an input-linked high-pass sweep for spectral breathing.
• Haziness modulation, Shimmer (+12-semitone pitch feedback), reverse Bloom, and a BPM-synced Swell build macro.
• Freeze for infinite sustain.

• 21 factory presets across rooms, halls, plates, and creative spaces.
• Nebula visualizer, decay-envelope overlay, a stereo-correlation phase-guard LED, and level meters.
• A/B comparison, randomize, and save/load user presets.
