HDSPe RayDAT

The RME HDSPe RayDAT is a multi-format PCI Express audio interface that offers an exceptional amount of digital I/O in a compact and efficient package. It is the ideal solution for producers and engineers who work primarily in the digital domain and need to connect multiple ADAT and S/PDIF-equipped devices to their computer. Perfect for connecting digital mixers, external converters, and synthesizers with digital outputs, the RayDAT provides up to 36 channels of input and 36 channels of output with RME's legendary performance and driver stability. Its combination of four ADAT ports, S/PDIF, and AES/EBU I/O makes it one of the most versatile digital-focused interfaces on the market.

The HDSPe RayDAT provides four ADAT optical inputs and four ADAT optical outputs, allowing for up to 32 channels of audio at 48 kHz, or 16 channels at 96 kHz using the S/MUX protocol. In addition to the ADAT ports, the card includes one AES/EBU I/O and one S/PDIF I/O, both operating at up to 192 kHz. It is built around RME's SteadyClock technology, which actively suppresses jitter from incoming digital signals and provides a rock-solid clock source for your entire studio. The included TotalMix software provides a powerful routing matrix, allowing any of the 36 input channels to be routed to any of the 36 output channels. With two MIDI I/O ports and optional Time Code support, the HDSPe RayDAT is a complete digital studio centerpiece.
