Hi-Hats A

The Erica Synths Hi-Hats A is a purely analog hi-hat sound generation module designed for the Eurorack format. This module is part of the Erica Synths Drum Series and is engineered to deliver classic, punchy, and versatile hi-hat sounds with the warmth and character that only analog circuitry can provide. It's built around a sample-and-hold-based sound generator, which produces a wide range of metallic and noisy textures perfect for crafting both open and closed hi-hat sounds, as well as more experimental percussive elements.

Sound shaping is at the forefront of the Hi-Hats A design. The module features manual controls and CV inputs for both Tone and Decay, allowing for dynamic, expressive control over the timbre and length of your hi-hats. An accent input provides further rhythmic expression. A unique feature is the 'Independent/Exclusive' switch, which determines how the open and closed hi-hat circuits interact, enabling classic choked hi-hat behavior or allowing both sounds to play simultaneously. The module also includes a manual trigger button for auditioning sounds without the need for an external sequencer.
