Overview

JWP Homage Line Drum Module is a simple drum synthesizer that has brighter kick and snare than the JWP Homage Line 808 Drums counterpart, and is backed by standard drum sounds.

Features

  • 2 Sweeping Sine Waves Kick Drum: Secondary sweeping oscillator for added high end in the kick drum.
  • White Noise Snare: White noise layered on dual oscillators for more tone and thicker snare sound.
  • Advanced Controls: Volume, pan, available for all sounds, decay for the high-hats and cowbell, and in addition, pitch for the bass drum and snare drum allowing for detailed sound customization.
  • Comprehensive Sound Palette: Includes a full range of synthetic drum sounds such as kick drum, snare drum, hi-hats, cowbell, rim shot, clap, crash, ride, toms, congas, tambourine, and clave.
  • MIDI Integration: General trigger MIDI mapping for seamless compatibility with most DAWs.

The JWP 808 Drum Synth is ideal for producers looking for bright synth drums with a 90s vibe and modern enhancements.

I didn't realize I had to turn on "Notify me when someone comments".

SynthEdit (SE) dates back to 2001, looking at version 0.9462, copyright 2002, the drum prefab is there; so 2002. The concept is "vintage digital".
