Hz

Hz, is a new programming-centric DAW/IDE with complete and exclusive support for CLAP-plugins. It's a modern take on SuperCollider or ChucK. It's completely programmable but instead of custom languages and APIs, Hz is built atop web technologies (JavaScript, webview/webkit) and Lua. And while Hz uses web technologies, it is a standalone desktop app that operates perfectly with or without internet access. To support CLAP plugins we built a custom, high-performance C++ audio engine, employing multiple threads and SIMD processing.

Hz is available for modern MacOS and Windows computers. If you are a CLAP-plugin developer we think it's a very useful tool for validating and testing your plugins. If you are a music-or-sound maker, a little programming can go a long way.
