Instant Chords Lite

This lightweight plugin allows you to create a chord section containing a maximum of 4 chords, render it as a MIDI file and insert it into your project afterwards.

You can select the chords you want to use via a dropdown list and preview them. The chords and be added in their regular form (root-3rd-5th-octave root) or an extended variant (root-5th-root octave-3rd-5th-root 2nd octave-3rd). Of course, the intervals change based on quality.

The chord qualities included are:

- major, minor, augmented, diminished.

- maj7, 7, m7, m7(b5), dim7.

- sus2, sus4.

- 6, m6, aud6,

- add9, madd9, add11, madd11.

- maj9, 9, m9, m9(b5).

- maj11, 11, m11, m11(b5).

- maj13, 13, m13, m13(b5).

When generating the MIDI, each chord will last for two bars. When using the plugin, make sure you place it before any virtual instrument, otherwise, the chord preview will not produce any sound.

Note that the Chord Section area is displayed only after adding a chord to the section.
