Conceptually think of it like this: imagine you're digging for vinyl and you find a holy-grail library record with 300 open chords, all played on various vintage instruments. 'Jazz Machine' is like a sampler patch made from that record, with those crackly chords ripped, pre-loaded and ready to lay some drums under.
Depending on which octave you're in, you'll hear a different chord flavour. From bottom to top you have Major 7, Minor 7, 13, ♭13, 7#9, Sus and m7♭5. As they're played in all twelve keys- That's 84 different types of chord.
On the fly you can switch between 4 vintage instruments:
If you're new to music, you'll be sounding like a real jazz cat in no time. If you're a fully fledged keyboard player, I guarantee you'll come up with some new progressions, as Jazz Machine's 'one-chord-type-per-octave' method takes you way out of your comfort zone.
Additionally you have 4 different articulations switchable through velocity and mod-wheel: Straight, Chops (attack trimmed off), Rakes and Melody top-notes.

IMPORTANT: please note the system requirements, there are no refunds if your Kontakt version is too old:
*The Deagan sound on Jazz Machine is not played in real-life, by me. I took some dry multisamples I have and meticulously dialled-in a slow vibrato effect. A bit of a workaround, but I hope you'll agree that it sounds pretty badass!
