I am currently in the end stages of making a drum instrument. It's huge, 9000 samples, 8 kits, different sticks, mallets, brushes, snares, kicks - Whilst doing that I thought some of the samples could benefit their own spotlight or tangental smaller instruments.
Last weeks DNIWER EPAT was this idea and now I'm happy to release CYMBAL SCRAPE.
You've heard this sound before from horror films to effects beds of tracks. And beyond.
It's a gem of a sample to have around.
It's the sound of a Vater Sweet Ride (my recording stick of choice) scraping on a sought after and after this recording, sadly stolen, 22" 1950's K Zildjian Ride Cymbal. The studio used was the same as the Kensal Drums, so the same great vintage Neve Pres were used.
For Kontakt 5.8.1+ (Full Version).
24-bit/48kHz .wav.
Introductory price until April 30th of £2.
