Little Drum Machine

Little Drum Machine is a free drum machine for iPad, Mac and Windows — easy to use and with all the necessary bits. Tap a beat into the grid, drag for velocity, add a little swing, and you have a groove.

We wanted something simple to work with in our own studio that gets the job done fast, so we built it — and now it's yours, for free. Inside: a 16-step, 8-lane grid with per-step velocity, 32 samples across 8 drums (four variants each, swappable per lane or per step), your own samples loaded into any of the 32 slots, Musical Randomize and Mutate for fast grooves, 16 scenes chained into full arrangements in the Arranger, a built-in mixer with per-lane EQ and a one-knob glue compressor, MIDI out to drive external gear, and 20 genre presets to start from.

Runs as a VST3/AU plugin on Mac and Windows, and very soon as an AUv3 instrument on iPad. Free, no strings attached.
