longDivision splits your mix into frequency bands so you decide what gets wider, what stays put, and it always sums back to mono the way it started.

Most stereo wideners treat your entire mix like a single object. Turn the knob and everything spreads, whether it benefits or not. longDivision works differently. It analyzes the stereo field in bands and lets you widen only the regions you choose based on their correlation, leaving the rest untouched. You can bias the processing toward louder or quieter material, animate it with an LFO or envelope follower, and constrain the result to a target stereo window. When the mix is collapsed to mono, it sums exactly the same as the input, so you can chase width without sacrificing compatibility.
