Start from a growing library of beats, or a blank grid. Stuck? Pick a style and a density, hit Generate, and keep rolling the dice until one clicks. Then push it. Dial in Variation, Cymbals and Percussion, and add Fills on demand.

Eight pattern slots per beat let you build a verse, chorus, bridge and outro that all stay in the pocket. And it all stays live. Nudge a slider, fire a fill, queue the next pattern at the bar. The groove never stops.

It speaks in kick and snare.

Pick a map (General MIDI, a hardware drum machine, or a plugin like Addictive Drums or Studio Drummer) and the grid lays itself out for the kit you're actually playing. Your beat thinks in Kick, Snare and Hat, not CC 36, so the same groove jumps from your 909 to a VST and still sounds like itself.
