Mini PD

Mini PD is a 64-Bit Universal VST3 synth based on the Casio CZ style of Phase Distortion synthesis. Casio's CZ was a unique sound that sits somewhere between analog and Yamaha's DX sound. It is a unique form, especially as the waveforms modulate.

The synth is deliberately pretty simple to keep a small and easy-to-use footprint. Extra complexity, if needed, can be brought in using Modulation from your DAW. Of course, you can export the waveforms that you have created for use in samplers, wavetables, or granular synths.

Mini PD Features:

• 3 CZ-style PD Oscillators with 8+8 waveforms each.
• Simpler ADSR Envelopes.
• Filter Env controls Osc as well as -12/24dB analog Filter.
• Vibrato LFO.
• Everything can be Modulated, incl:
  • Master Wave Control.
  • Master Tune Control.

Support requests must be made in the YouTube video's comments (everything else will be ignored). Being a Universal VST3 suggests it should work on a suitable Apple Mac, but I have only tested on Win 11, so I don't offer Mac support as such.
