The KVR field "Price" should be not only "Free" but "Free (donationware)". There is a nag screen at each start.

This tool has been an indispensable piece of my workflow. It can do so much. Combine this with Minihost Modular from IL and you have quite the workhorse. You can control many aspects including performance (arpeggio, chording, etc), audio recording out (WAV), as well as save presets from the VST you load, or save the entire host preset, One thing that you may not know is that you can overdub endlessly with this tool because it records PC sound. So you can load and play a previously recorded session and play other sounds over top doing a new WAV record/export. This is especially useful for sound effects and drones/soundscapes. The possibilities are endless. Sure, you can do this with a regular DAW, but it doesn't always record MIDI events and the unexpected sounds. Because this records every sound that is made, there is more flexibility and the possibilities open up more. Also, I find seeing the WAV form in a DAW when creating sounds actually stifles my creativity. The only drawback of this tool is that it can only load 32-bit VST.

It's really a pity Toby left the Minihost. We all should write to him together and insist that he give new life to this small but wonderful software...

This link works, and MiniHost still works excellent for your ancient 32-bit synths.
