Montagem 808

Montagem 808 is a single-parameter instrument plugin, the fourth piece of the Montagem chain (alongside Montagem Finisher, Widener, and Punch). Play a note and get a classic 808 slide -- pitch gliding down from above the root into the note itself, with a punchy attack and natural decay. The Amount control drives the glide range, glide time, decay length, and oscillator tone together.

Generate the 808 with this instrument, then finish it with the rest of the Montagem chain (drive/loudness, stereo space, transient punch).

The plugin is currently in public beta: builds are functional and tested on both Windows and macOS (universal binary: Apple Silicon + Intel) but are not yet code-signed or notarized, which requires a one-time manual step on first install (documented in the download). Includes a built-in on-screen keyboard, playable without a MIDI controller.

Available as VST3 and Audio Unit, plus a standalone application.
