I am contributing 15+ custom patches that I created with MUX, the monster, modular VSTi synthesizer by MUTools. Many of these were used on my track, 'Muckety MUX', which I submitted as an entry to the KVR One Synth Challenge #80. The set includes synth sounds and electronic drum patches. Enjoy!
You can listen to the archived track here: https://archive.org/details/OSC80Mux/tonedef71+-+Muckety+Mux.mp3
This batch of MUX units contains effects and instruments of various categories.
Effects freeverb - it's a modular implementation of Jezar's freeverb with a number of additional features and parameters. tight room - it's my own experiment with extremely tight positioning of sounds, also inviting for some crazy effects.
Instruments These are my latest experiments with MUX, covering categories from voices, keys, lead and synth to bass and drums. They are not many, yet, but it's an exciting set to me and hopefully to you, too! :)
This might just be one of my new favorite VST's!!!! I love the variety of sounds this thing can produce and was surprised at the quality of the massive library of sounds. Wish I would have found this sooner. You will not regret trying or buying this instrument.
If all goes well, MuLab will make the proper splash it should have already and MUX will become a known and popular format, too. With the addition of the MultiForm Oscillator, it really becomes a brilliant and unique synthesizer and new modules are bound to join the ranks. You can easily and visually create patches that otherwise would require complicated scripting or aren't even possible in any other way than with the MUX. I recommend everyone crossing fingers.
Anyway, I'll start posting some patches. I hope, they'll remain compatible with upcoming versions, which is probably one of the most troublesome aspects of the MuLab development as it really might have to do some leaps that complicated backwards compatibility, but I will see that I maintain the patches and update them accordingly. I'll keep it up as long as I can, of course. 8)
