Concept.

Simply turn the Distance knob to move a sound naturally from Near (right in front of you) to Far (in the distance).

NMF-01 is a dedicated depth processor designed to add realistic spatial distance to your mix. It works great on its own or placed after a reverb.

How It Creates Distance.

Automatic Direct/Reverb Balance
The plugin automatically adjusts the balance between the direct signal and the reverberant signal based on the Distance setting. Closer sounds remain direct and focused, while distant sounds become increasingly dominated by ambience.

Distance-Based High-Frequency Attenuation
As distance increases, a gentle high-frequency roll-off recreates the natural loss of brightness that occurs as sound travels through the air.

Adaptive Reverb Space
Reverb decay and spatial spread change continuously with the Distance control, smoothly transitioning from a small, intimate space to a large, distant environment.

Transient Softening
Slightly smooths attack transients to reduce the sharpness associated with close-miked sounds, enhancing the perception of distance.

Stereo Width That Stays Mono-Compatible
Stereo width adapts with distance while maintaining excellent mono compatibility.
