Oberheim Matrix 6 Editor

The Oberheim Matrix 6 was one of the last synthesizers built by Tom Oberheim. The Matrix 6 is a very underrated synthesizer. The sound is rich and warm because of using Curtis ICs. The other special thing is the great modulation matrix of the Oberheim Matrix 6. You can create some amazing sounds with a special character. But in 1985 knobs and sliders for programming sounds directly from scratch were gone. Most manufacturers would like to introduce the special digital programming with blinking LEDs, a few membrane buttons and a small display. So it was not very comfortable to get the most out of the Oberheim Matrix 6.

This has come to an end now... with my new Oberheim Matrix 6 Editor for Windows and Mac OS X. More than 90 parameters (not the modulation matrix) of the Matrix 6 are reachable directly now. Believe me when I say that this machine comes to new life. Sometimes it could be very useful to edit the parameters of this amazing synth on screen within your DAW.

To use this software you need the hardware Oberheim Matrix 6. This app does not make sound.
