Obsydian: Dark Energy for Generate

Expansions

There are several expansions planned for this pack, each delving deeper into a specific category of sound. Every expansion will contain 50 presets and will be available at a 50% discount for customers who have purchased the Core Collection.

MPE Compatible

All of the included sounds are universally compatible across all MIDI controllers, whether you use a standard MIDI controller or an MPE-compatible controller. If you have an MPE controller, you'll benefit from additional expressive options.

To ensure optimal performance, always set Generate to MPE mode and configure your DAW plugin wrapper (such as in Ableton Live) to MPE mode as well. This is because, in non-MPE mode, the Slide value is transmitted at half its value instead of 0, which is the default for the presets. Essentially, the presets may sound different with a regular MIDI controller depending on whether MPE is enabled or disabled.
