A free collection of 30 error and glitch inspired samples, created by pushing a broken synth to places in didn't want to be.

A few months back we were researching and experimenting with various forms of feedback and delay lines for a physical modelling synthesizer, but we made a mistake in the programming and broke the synth. But it wasn't completely broken and still processed sounds, just not at all what we were aiming to get.

Although most of them sounded like complete trash, every now and then some strange and interesting glitches and drones came out of it. So, before we corrected our mistake and fixed the synth, we spent a bit of time recording the glitchy and corrupted sounds that came out of it. And now you can have them too.

Some of them have interesting endings where everything collapsed and left alternative textures that might be worth exploring and be useful depending on what you want to do with them - watch your speakers.

Will the original synth be released to make more of these error sounds? Almost certainly not, unfortunately the mistakes we made that caused these sounds also created huge CPU spikes and instabilities, it would be impossible to provide support for such an instrument and we wouldn't feel happy doing that. And, as this was a complete accident by us, we also wouldn't feel comfortable charging you for them, so you can have them for free and create more strange and interesting sounds from them. We'd love to hear how you use them.
