Six distortion engines in one plugin — bitcrusher, sample rate reducer, wavefolder, feedback, soft & hard clipper, and a virtual pedal circuit. Extracted from Bingo Drum Machine and expanded. Completely free.

6 Engines, 1 Signal Chain

• Bitcrusher: Eats your audio and spits it back out in pieces. A little: grit. A lot: something unrecognizable.
• Sample Rate Reducer: Makes stuff sound like it's coming apart at the seams. That degraded, falling-apart thing. You know the one.
• Wavefolder: Takes the peaks and folds them back into the signal instead of cutting them off. The harmonics it creates don't exist anywhere in nature.
• Feedback: Loops the signal back into itself. A little adds weight. Too much and it goes somewhere you can't predict.
• Soft & Hard Clipper: Soft clip rounds things off. Hard clip just smashes it flat. Both in the same chain.
• Pedal: Smooth blend between a Boss DS-1 and a ProCo RAT. Two legendary circuits, one knob. Somewhere in the middle is where things get weird.
