INSTALLATION GUIDE
1. Open Wide is delivered as 64-bit VST3/AU FX plugin.
2. Plugin\Microsoft Windows: Copy the "Open Wide.vst3" file to your system VST/VST3 folder, typically: "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3" or "C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins".
3. Plugin\macOSX: Copy the "Open Wide.component" or "Open Wide.vst3" file to:
"/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components" (for AU) or "/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3".
4. Enjoy the Open Wide.

Open Wide by Cloudy Samples is a boutique stereo manipulation and mastering processor designed to shape the spatial architecture of your sound with absolute precision. Built around a high-end, clean industrial interface, Open Wide splits professional stereo management into 5 core, high-fidelity processing sections. Whether you are widening a narrow synth lead, adjusting group buses, or fixing the low-end of a master for a club sound system, Open Wide offers total control over your mix's width and phase coherence without introducing digital artifacts.

KEY MODULES
1. Mid/Side Matrix:
Separates the incoming signal into Mid (mono/center) and Side (stereo/edges) channels, allowing independent control over the acoustic core and spatial width of the sound. Adjust the independent levels of the Side (width) and Mid information, and clean up the side channel using a dedicated High Pass filter to maintain absolute phase clarity.
2. Haas+ Split:
Utilizes the acoustic Haas Effect by delaying one channel by a few milliseconds, creating a powerful illusion of extreme spatial width. Includes a built-in High Pass sweep to ensure the lower frequencies remain perfectly focused.
3. Micro-Pitch Shift:
Classic hardware-style spatial enhancer that detunes the Left/Right channels while adding micro-delays. This creates a thick, chorus-like sound. Complemented by an integrated High Pass filter to keep the detuned processing strictly within the mid-to-high frequency range.
4. Frequency Split:
Splits the audio frequency spectrum into multiple bands, alternating them between the Left/Right channels to generate clean, stereo-like width from mono sources, based on your Intensity (Dir) and Reso (Q) crossover settings. Includes a High Pass control to safeguard the low end from any splitting artifacts.
5. Mono Bass:
A utility tool dedicated to the low-frequency foundation. Forces all stereo information below the selected crossover point into absolute, center-focused mono. Features a precision Low Pass filter and a hardware-style Full Mono toggle switch that smoothly forces everything into center-focused mono.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. You need 64-bit OS with VST3/AU supported DAW to run this plugin.
2. If you need a panic button, you can use the Bypass switch.
3. Quickly restore to factory settings by pressing the Clean (C) button.
4. Access the license on the main folder "Assets/Documentation".
5. To uninstall the plugin, just remove your copied "Open Wide.vst3" or "Open Wide.component" from your VST Plugins folder.
