Parker English Horn is a true legato English horn Kontakt library performed by Dr. Andrew Parker, Associate Professor of Oboe at the University of Texas.

After the success of our Parker Oboe collaboration, we had to bring back Andrew to capture the beautiful, dark, mysterious tones of the cor anglais.

The Workhorse patch is great for more exciting contexts; performed with a confident mezzo-forte dynamic while Emotional offers a lyrical/delicate performance at mezzo-piano.

We've also captured a variety of inhale breaths with subsequent "pre-attack" air/tonguing noises — really helps sell the performance when peppered in before/in-between phrases.

Patches:

  • E Horn Legato – Workhorse.
  • E Horn Legato – Emotional.
  • E Horn Breaths – Short to Long.

Features:

  • Legato English horn.
  • Performed with natural, progressive vibrato.
  • Tuned and untuned variations.
  • Recorded close for mixing flexibility.
  • Adjustable reverb of custom hall impulse.

Specifications:

  • Requires full retail version of Kontakt 5.8.1 or higher.
  • Free Kontakt Player NOT supported.
  • Recorded in 48kHz / 24-bit.
  • 1.2 GB compressed NCW format.
  • Receive watermarked product by Pulse downloader.
