The Erica Synths Perkons Voice is the powerful Eurorack incarnation of a single percussion voice from the acclaimed PERKONS HD-01 drum machine. This module encapsulates the raw energy and sonic versatility of its larger sibling, offering a hybrid architecture that combines a flexible digital sound engine with a characterful analog multimode filter and overdrive circuit. It's a complete synthesizer voice optimized for creating a massive range of percussive sounds, from thunderous kicks and sharp snares to metallic clashes and futuristic zaps.

The digital heart of the Perkons Voice offers 13 different sound generation algorithms, providing a diverse foundation for your sound design. These algorithms can be sculpted and shaped by the subsequent analog processing stages. The resonant multimode filter can switch between High-Pass, Band-Pass, and Low-Pass modes, allowing you to carve out the perfect frequency content for your sound. Following the filter, a dedicated analog overdrive circuit can add anything from subtle warmth and saturation to aggressive, screaming distortion, giving your drums immense presence and power.

One of the module's key strengths is its performance-oriented design. It features memory for up to 99 user presets, which can be recalled instantly, making it ideal for live sets. The Tune and Patch CV inputs are highly configurable and can be set to track 1V/octave, allowing the Perkons Voice to be played melodically.
