Persistent L is designed for both mixing and mastering applications. During mixing, it can be used to control transient peaks on vocals, drum buses, synths, and subgroups.

In mastering, it provides reliable management of final loudness and True Peak Ceiling, helping ensure consistent playback across modern distribution platforms. The combination of Style, Look Ahead, Attack, and Release controls allows it to handle everything from fast and aggressive peak catching to smooth, transparent master limiting.

Transient Link and Release Link offer additional control over stereo image behavior and dynamic movement, helping maintain focus, balance, and musical integrity even under heavy limiting conditions.
