Pico Quant

The Erica Synths Pico Quant is an advanced and compact CV quantizer for the Eurorack format. A quantizer is a vital tool for creating melodic and harmonic content in a modular system. It takes any incoming continuous control voltage (CV) signal, such as the output from a random source, a complex LFO, or a touchpad controller, and conforms it to the discrete notes of a musical scale. The Pico Quant performs this task with precision and adds several unique features that set it apart.

The module comes pre-loaded with eight different musical scales, including major, minor, and various modal and blues scales, providing a wide range of harmonic flavors to choose from. A standout feature is its ability to handle quarter-tone scales, opening up possibilities for microtonal music and sounds inspired by Middle Eastern and other world music traditions.
