At first glance this looks very promising, but its over $100 and I'm particularly interested in the unusual features; and there appears to be no demo to download.
But mainly I'm holding off buying it because the Arptor section of the manual seems to reveal that this section is not all that capable. I'm wondering if it is because this product must work identically for both Mac/PC and ipad. It is allowable to record 10 minutes of sound. Why are there only 16 steps in the Arptor? And why only the basic modes? And can the arp be put into reset mode, and taken out of reset mode, such that after the length (e.g. 16 steps, 15 steps, or...etc.), the arp can either continue its cyclic behavior, or start its cyclic behavior over? I've thought that was a good feature in certain arps, but I don't think it is a feature within Wavemapper 2, but I could be wrong.
I paid full price and then it was handed off to Plugin Aliiance and they have yet to release a fix that will allow me to use it in OS X. I've written several times only to get the answer that they don't have an ETA and will let me know when. It's been 3 years. Pretty not good.
