Pressure Points Touch Controller

The Make Noise Pressure Points is a groundbreaking analog control voltage generator that combines a three-step sequencer with expressive, pressure-sensitive touch plates. It provides a unique, hands-on method for sequencing and performance, allowing the artist to physically interact with their patch in a way that traditional knobs and sliders cannot replicate. By touching the plates, you can step through sequences, generate gates, and create nuanced modulation signals with the pressure of your finger, making it a powerful centerpiece for any interactive modular system.

Pressure Points features three gold-plated touch plates, each corresponding to a "stage" in the sequence. Each stage has its own tuning knob that sets a specific control voltage. When you touch a plate, its corresponding tuned voltage is sent to the "Tuned CV" output. Simultaneously, a variable "Press" CV is generated, proportional to how hard you press the plate, which is perfect for adding expression. A Gate output is also generated for triggering envelopes or other events. You can play these stages manually by touching them, or you can sequence them using an external clock signal patched to the inputs. Up to four Pressure Points and Press Point expanders can be chained together to create a controller with up to 16 stages, offering immense potential for complex sequencing and performance layouts.
