Pumpit

Pumpit is a free sidechain pumping plugin for macOS. It ducks the volume in time with your track to create that rhythmic breathing groove, with no sidechain routing required — just drop it on a channel and dial the shape.

Three ways to trigger the pump:

• Auto — a tempo-synced envelope locked to your DAW's grid, so it pumps in perfect time with no routing.
• Sidechain — transient detection from an external input for classic kick-driven ducking.
• MIDI — fire the duck from note-on messages for sample-accurate, programmed pumping.

Shape the movement:

• Ten built-in curve shapes — Smooth, Punchy, Hard, Slow, Long Tail, Half Sine, Log Curve, Exponential and Linear — plus a Custom curve you draw yourself with drag-editable control points.
• Rate synced to 1/1, 1/2, 1/4 or 1/8, with Offset and Hold to place and sustain the dip.
• A live curve display shows the exact shape and its position in the bar as it plays.

Also inside:

• Multiband ducking with an adjustable crossover, so you can pump the low end while leaving the highs untouched.
• Auto-Gain to keep levels consistent, a Mix control for parallel ducking, and a Stereo Offset for extra width.
• Input, gain-reduction and output metering, plus a soft-clip ceiling on the output.
• 11 factory presets tuned for tech house, deep house and more, with preset save/load, A/B compare and randomize.
• 5 ms lookahead with automatic delay compensation reported to the host.

Formats: AU, VST3, and Standalone — Universal Binary (Apple Silicon + Intel), code-signed and notarized by Apple, so it installs cleanly on macOS. Free to download.
