A significant enhancement over the original is the inclusion of a distortion circuit, modeled after the famous DS-1 pedal, which can be applied to the master output to add grit, saturation, and aggressive edge to your beats. The easy-to-use 16-step sequencer allows for the creation of 32 patterns, which can be chained into songs up to 256 bars long. Modern connectivity is provided through USB for MIDI control and sync, alongside traditional 5-pin MIDI In/Out/Thru and multiple sync options, making it a flexible hub for any hardware-based electronic music setup.
