Rev OCEAN

Rev OCEAN is a reverb plugin built on a feedback delay network (FDN) reverberator with multi-stage diffusion, designed to produce long, continuous tails with internal movement rather than realistic room emulation. Size, Decay, and Brightness set the scale, length, and tone of the space, and a Freeze function holds the tail indefinitely for sustained textures.

The plugin is aimed at downtempo, ambient, cinematic, and shoegaze production, where the goal is depth and motion across drums, vocals, guitars, and synths. Three macro modes change how the tail evolves: Abyss adds layered reverse depth with subtle pitch shifting, Tide applies independent left/right filtering for wave-like spectral movement, and Foam builds a long, blurred attack that softens transients into swelling onsets. A single Macro control sets the intensity of whichever mode is active.

Mix-stage tools place the reverb in a busy arrangement: an HPF/LPF input filter, a Transients control to smooth sharp attacks, Ducking to keep the source clear, Pre Delay, and stereo Width. Output is managed with Mix, Wet Volume, and a Mix Lock that lets you browse presets without shifting the wet/dry balance you have set. The interface is resizable, supports A/B comparison and MIDI mapping, and includes in-app tutorials.
