Rhytime — Resketchpad v0.1.

This full analogic MIDI tracker in the web browser is aimed to be the instrument psyche as 10 note rows.

Music instruments are having static notes rooms but as well our static rhythm linear abstraction room giving life to all the frequencies.

So rests get rulers defining where we imagine frequencies landing unlike a spreadsheet, instrument, solfège sheet, the music goes ahead:

• Group/Channel-based interactive composition workflow, 16 MIDI channels/tracks.
• Built-in analog synthesizer to create our instruments.
• Safe Undo/Redo + browser autosave history, Json/MIDI import/export.
• Harmony and scale helpers to learn the music from scratch.

Go start
New song: begin a clean blank project. JSON to reopen a full Resketchpad project. Import MIDI: bring your MIDI and continue to edit it inside Resketchpad. Browser memory restores the last work automatically.

Composing

Infinite undo/redo.
is the note rests to tell the pace inside your note, +distant note (creates a Polyrest) is a silence+spare note. Note groups inside each MIDI channel, so the melody feels owned. Polyrests create visible phrase room between note series.

Editing
Resize latch: default note-length editing. Shift line: move phrase/line spacing using Polyrests. In those modes press space bar for a quick shift freq: edit pitch and build harmony selections. Pace spline: Editing movement by curve reading. Analog feel or 1/32 steps gives free/quantized timing.

Readings
Note tiles show pitch with black/white key labels. Family roles mark musical meaning:open: normal note parent: state/identity note child: force/helper note ruler: rhythmic/physics note. Enabling a pace curve we draw across arbitrary handles under a family.

Double-click a note outside Pace mode to cycle family. Pace mode shows parent/pivot motion as a wave spline. Integer list checks playable/sample-aligned timing. Singer mode shows scale-degree reading.

Hearing
Play previews the current piece in-browser choosing one instrument. Built-in synth has editable presets and reverb. Synth settings save inside the song JSON. Listen your sounds. Tempo can use native, custom, or MIDI source tempo. Harmony In shift freq, click notes into the harmony palette. Use Tonic arrange, Chord seedbag, or Tessitura tool to explore harmonic options. Next synth cycles selected notes through suggested results. Save Safely Undo / Redo cover edits. Browser autosave keeps the current project locally. Save JSON is the rich portable project file. Export MIDI sends notes to MIDI/DAW tools. Autosave keeps latest work recoverable.

No automatized UX/UI or script, only analogic workflow and sound.
The sound is a web Moog architecture script.

The "Strainsketch" synth is special:
A short noise burst, delay, damping, and
feedback, closer to a Karplus/plucked-string idea.

*Voice selector*: piano, strain pluck, organ, bell, soft lead.
*Two oscillator forms*: |form1| plus optional |form2|, with blend, ratio, and retune.
*Envelope*: attack, decay, sustain, continuity, release.
*Motion*: LFO rate/depth with sine or triangle shapes.
*Tone/body controls*: cutoff, smooth/Q, body mix, color mix.
*Room*: built-in impulse reverb with room, wet, damp controls.

*Preset system*: default preset + user save/rename/delete, stored in local Storage.
Bugs found:

They remain non-destructive and discrete in this beta.

Limitations:

Only the focussed track can be played the analog synthesizer.
