RibbonToNotes

RibbonToNotes is a MIDI effect (AU and VST3, Mac and Windows) makes it possible to play notes and chords on a ribbon. It was created with Keytar players in mind: it makes it possible to play notes and chords with the left hand. But of course it can be used for any ribbon. For instance, it can be used to extend the note range of a small keyboard as well.

Beside playing base notes or accompaniment chords, it can also be used for key-switches.

It is open source, created with JUCE. This means that it can be build for all platforms. Currently only a build for Windows (VST3) and Mac (AU, VST3) is present, including installers. But anyone with skills can built it for iOS too, if needed.
