Rogue P6 — Editor & Librarian for the Sequential Prophet-6

Rogue P6 is a native macOS editor and librarian for the Sequential Prophet-6 hardware synthesizer. It puts every parameter of the instrument on screen with live two-way MIDI, and gives your whole patch collection a fast, organised, de-duplicated home on the Mac.

The Editor

As an editor, Rogue P6 lays out the complete Prophet-6 engine across its SYNTH, FX and ARP panels — oscillators, mixer, dual filter, envelopes, LFO, poly mod, the dual effects section and the arpeggiator. Editing is true two-way sync over NRPN: turn a knob on screen and the synth follows in real time, move a control on the hardware and the on-screen display updates to match, and pull the synth's current sound into the app with a single click. The interface draws the sound as you shape it — live ADSR envelopes, oscillator waveforms, filter-response and LFO graphs, and modulation rings on every knob a source is touching — so you read the patch, not just its numbers. A/B compare works at any depth, from the whole patch down to a single knob, with up to ten undo steps.

The Librarian
As a librarian, Rogue P6 keeps one Sound Library that holds every patch you save or import, automatically de-duplicated by content so the same sound never clutters the list twice. Rate, colour-label, tag and annotate patches, inspect any sound in a Get Info panel, and audition it live on the P6. Build named, ordered Sound Banks with custom artwork, import from or export to .syx, pull banks straight off the synth, and send a bank back to a chosen hardware slot in one move. Smart Folders act as saved searches that stay current as the library grows — filter by category, tag, designer and rating, save the filter, and the folder fills itself in.

Requirements
macOS, and a Sequential Prophet-6 hardware synthesizer (USB class-compliant — no special driver needed; DIN MIDI also supported). Standalone application — not a plugin. Available on the Mac App Store.
