The module features two independent channels, allowing you to trigger two different samples simultaneously. Once recorded, the real creative power is unleashed through a comprehensive suite of sample manipulation parameters. You can adjust the sample's start point, end point, and pitch, reverse the playback, and even create granular-style textures by looping and scanning through tiny fragments of the audio. Each channel has its own virtual VCA and an AHD envelope, allowing you to shape the dynamics of your samples without needing external modules. Further sonic sculpting is provided by a voltage-controlled digital filter with selectable low-pass, band-pass, and high-pass modes. The module also includes a built-in digital overdrive effect to add grit and aggression. With extensive CV control over nearly every parameter and the ability to save your creations to an included microSD card, the Sample Drum is a deep and endlessly inspiring rhythmic tool.
