shearwater piano is an intimate upright piano recorded in Dartmoor, UK.

Use tape mode for an instant vintage warmth, with every note run individually through a tape deck or, use paper mode for a unique plucky bounce, recorded with masking tape over the piano strings.

3 modes:

• Piano:
  • The original piano.
  • Use the mic controls to quickly fade between 5 sets of studio microphones.
• Tape:
  • Each note was individually fed through a tape machine to create a unique vintage warmth.
  • Use the 'lofi' and 'noise' sliders to go back and forth in time.
• Paper:
  • By placing masking tape over the piano strings, 'paper' mode turns the piano into a bouncy pluck machine.
