SimpleConway (Standalone)

SimpleConway is a preliminary version of ConwayMaxtrix, a sequencer that uses Conway's Game of Life to create music. It started out similar to ToneMatrix (by André Michelle), but built in the ability to update the cells according to the rules of any cellular automata the user desired.

In the current version, there are a few useful commands like load, save, random, clear, update, step and change bpm. Change the colors of the cells if you wish. There are two built-in synths, but SimpleConway is most powerful when MIDI In and MIDI Out is used. Check out the VST3 version to integrate with your DAWs.
