Sloom is an extreme timestretcher that turns any sound into a lush soundscape. By radically slowing down playback, sounds are transformed into smooth, malleable matter that can be expressively modified with a unique spectral shaping module. Exciting and promising, but unfortunately unusable in practice: the plugin works perfectly when it's open on screen, but you lose all your automation or control via a MIDI surface as soon as you close the window... It's a pity, because it's a lot of fun to use otherwise.
