SlowMo 2

SlowMo 2 is an advanced half-time effect plugin for Windows and Mac, designed to slow down your mixes, instruments, vocals, and effect channels by up to 50% (or more) in real-time. Building on the original, it introduces multiband processing for precise control over low, mid, and high frequency bands, allowing independent settings for speed, pitch maintenance, octave shifts, reverse, and dry/wet mix per band.

Ideal for modern genres like hip-hop, trap, EDM, and beyond, SlowMo 2 adds dramatic tension, depth, and creative textures to your productions. Choose from basic mode for simple half-time effects or switch to multiband mode to target specific frequencies—such as slowing bass while keeping highs crisp. The plugin syncs to your DAW's tempo with loop times from 1/16 to 4 bars (including dotted and triplet variations), and the speed knob adjusts playback from 1 (original speed) to 4.0 (quarter speed) in 0.5 increments, where higher values mean slower playback (e.g., 2.0 = half speed).

Key global controls include Smooth for artifact-free processing, Blend to mix in original audio as a percentage of loop time (low values preserve transients, high values create rhythmic fluttering on short loops like 1/4), Fade In/Out with fast/slow options for seamless transitions (fading out original while fading in the slowed version), and overall Dry/Wet for blending. Reverse plays audio backward but only activates after a full loop buffer fills. In multiband mode, adjustable crossover frequencies (start and end) split the signal: low below start freq, high above end freq, mid in between, with solo/mute per band for editing.

The intuitive, resizable interface includes a preset manager to save and load custom presets like Basic Halftime, Basic Reverse, Blurry Vision, Back In Time, Higher Dimension, Mid Band Isolation, Rhythmic Halftime, Split Bands, Super Slow Motion, and more. Built-in oversampling ensures high-quality audio without artifacts.
