Smith Island EQ is a stereo mastering equaliser built for broad, repeatable tone shaping on the mix bus, master bus, and stereo groups.
Each channel has five EQ sections: Lo Shelf, Lo, Mid, Hi, and Hi Shelf. The main bands use stepped frequency and bandwidth controls, so settings are easy to recall, compare, and repeat across sessions. Every band also includes BROAD mode, which opens the bell into a wider curve for slower, more musical tonal moves.
Smith Island EQ also includes one-click Mid/Side routing. The encode/decode stage is handled internally, so you can work in L/R or M/S without adding extra routing plugins. Use it for side air, mid cleanup, stereo balance adjustments, or simple left/right mastering moves.
The workflow is deliberately practical: stepped controls, undo/redo, A/B comparison, copy/paste, INIT reset, input/output trims, and offline-first activation.
