I was using this Sonar Platinum as a demo install along with my Sonar Producer X3. Pretty much the same but with some added features and other 3rd party plugins and stuff, services thrown in. I'm drawn to upgrade hoping they will fix the annoyances and bugs.
I just paid the for the upgrade to Sonar Platinum but now my Account is not credited with the purchase and serial / registration number. Cakewalk is not answering my support requests in the issuing of the authorisation and delivery of the product to my computer. It's been five days since I paid them through the website and for some others its been more than two weeks. This kind of problem has not been resolved.
The cakewalk.com forum is filled with a number of people with the same issues but do not seem to have it being resolved.
Anyone else using Sonar with such issues here on KVR? Any solutions?
Cleverbridge.com is handling the billing for cakewalk store and online shop transactions, still have not answered my support emails.
The biggest problem is paying for something but not having full benefit of the use of a product. No need to talk about special features in the product.
Cakewalk or their parent company needs to wake up and deliver before they think about talking about 'features' and enhancements.
I already bought Presonus Studio One Professional waiting on Cakewal to fix Sonar.
Already regret paying for Sonar Platinum and the usual attitude and treatment we die hard supporters get. Which makes me think the previous tenure under Roland was much better. I always got whatever stuff I bought immediately, including 3rd party products.
