Sordina

Sordina is an effects plugin that emulates brass and string instrument mutes.

Beyond traditional applications, Sordina provides the opportunity to experiment with unconventional combinations not possible in reality. For instance, you can explore how a bassoon might sound with a trumpet's harmon mute.

Sordina includes over 260 mute models based on real-world recordings. In addition to standard mutes, the software includes emulations of effects such as wah-wah, col legno, sul ponticello, and flautando.

Sordina has a clean, easy to use interface that helps you get started really quickly. Just insert the plugin on an instrument or audio track, select a mute, and tweak the volume.

For more detailed control over the sound there is a built-in parametric equaliser, saturation control, and mix knob.

Real-time feedback is delivered through on-screen meters and a spectrum analyzer, offering a dynamic visualization of how Sordina is shaping the incoming audio.
