I am of two minds on the Sonarworks calibration products: hooray, no more worries about coloration/flatness depending on your particular speakers/cans, a production prayer answered- yet, the nature of their solution means that even their updated ASIO ultimately rests on WASAPI, which means a choice needs to be made. Do you need true ASIO more than the assurance you're not being "lied to" by your monitoring system?
They are up-front about this, as a company, Sonarworks is honest and trustworthy- it just makes me sad I can't quite yet "have my cake and eat it, too".
