Split Chaos creates two alternate realities of your sound.
Your audio is duplicated into two identical paths. From there, each path gradually disagrees with the other through timing, pitch, tone, saturation, and continuously evolving movement before they collide back together into a single output.
Instead of traditional chorus, delay, or modulation, Split Chaos focuses on controlled disagreement. Small differences create width, depth, and movement. Larger differences produce fractured doubles, unstable textures, warped stereo images, and beautifully imperfect parallel worlds.
Every control shapes how the two realities drift apart:
• Offset introduces timing disagreement between the paths.
• Bend creates subtle pitch disagreement through delay modulation.
• Color gives each path a different spectral character.
• Friction applies different saturation characteristics to each path.
• Drift continuously evolves every disagreement with slow organic motion.
• Mix blends the processed signal with your original audio.
From subtle widening and analog-style instability to surreal layered textures, Split Chaos transforms ordinary sounds into evolving, living performances that never stand completely still.
Perfect for guitars, synths, vocals, drums, pads, percussion, and creative sound design.
