Standard

Standard is the fourth synth in a bundle designed to familiarize users with the characteristics of various methods of anti-aliasing oscillators.

Standard VST features BLIT oscillators (band-limited impulse train) rendered in 64-bit floating point with an 18 mode, dual stage filter section. BLIT oscillators offer practically alias-free timbres with superb retention of high partials, making this method an appropriate choice for synthesis of basic waveforms. A non-BLIT emulation of the super saw oscillator is also included, as well as a six algorithm noise generator.

The demo is limited to two voices of polyphony, the full version has 8 voices of poly and is part of the bundle which includes Aurora VST (band-limited interpolated tables), Naive Lead VST (naive oversampled oscillators), and W VST (discrete summation formula oscillator).
