The Steampipe's sound engine is based on a complex physical modeling algorithm that simulates the behavior of air moving through a pipe. The core of the sound engine consists of three main sections: the 'Steam' section, which simulates the initial breath or attack of the sound; the 'Pipe' section, which models the resonant body of the instrument; and the 'Reverb' section, which adds space and ambience. Each of these sections offers a range of parameters for detailed sound shaping. The Steampipe also includes an LFO and an envelope generator for adding movement and articulation to your sounds. A built-in arpeggiator and a powerful effects section with delay and reverb further expand its sonic capabilities.
