Transformizer Basic is a tool for all musicians and producers interested in obtaining an artistic edge and maximizing their creative output in the studio. In short, an adaptive engine lets one audio file's pitch and/or amplitude control the behavior of another, which can generate creative results that would not have been discovered in other ways.
Locking in with the master BPM
Transformizer Basic is perfectly suited for doing its magic within musical projects, as it is possible to define the length of one or more bars in the Master file section and lock it to the project's tempo. This means that the Child section audio file will not only follow the master file's pitch and amplitude, but also the overall tempo of the song, which is key to obtaining great results in a music production context.
Building on the Pro foundation
Transformizer Basic builds on the same adaptive engine as the full-blown Transformizer Pro plugin that was originally developed with professional sound designers in mind. Importantly, the Basic version was optimized for music production rather than being a less capable edition of Transformizer Pro. While sound designers may find a need for blending three or four different sound sources and have detailed control over many parameters, music producers will be pleased to find that the Basic version is delivering faster results.
Random Experiments
The core algorithm under the hood of the Basic version and the sound quality it delivers is the same as in Transformizer Pro, but in order to deliver fast and inspiring results, Transformizer Basic lets the user work with one master and one child audio file and kick in the magic instantly, using a Randomizer feature.
Potentially, there are millions of possible results when 'transformizing' so setting a degree of randomization and simply hitting the Randomize button repeatedly will conceive unique results instantly and continuously. Once a desired sound has been created it is simply a matter of saving or rendering it to a new track.

Within just a few sessions, Transformizer has become one of my absolute go-to tools for sound design. The audio quality and sound shaping capabilities are outstanding. Can't recommend it enough, if you're looking for a unique plugin that offers a genuinely new approach to sound manipulation. 10/10.

What does Transformizer Basic actually do? The website says nothing about Basic.

i've asked the Transformizer support about this recently. Their answer was that the only considerable difference is, that you don't have manual control over the advanced features like pitch transpose, pitch tracking, amplitude tracking.
However, you can still use all of these features via the Randomizer function. I've attached a screenshot from the manual to show how it works.
The other difference between the Basic and Pro version is, that you can only work with two sample layers instead of four. Apart from that they are apparently the same.

So you can only morph two layers, and only randomize the parameters? That doesn't seem very useful at all. It could actually be quite frustrating.
Basic should give you full control, but limit it to two layers. That would make more sense.
They should also explain this on their website (which is not very informative).

i agree with you on the lack of information. I've discovered the plugin by chance through the KVR News, and they actually explained it well there.

Thanks, that is very clear! (I still think its a bad decision to limit Basic to randomize-only; they should give basic users some artistic control)
